Gainesville Day 2
Afternoon Table Time

Hello Friends and Family,
Today was our second full day on the University of Florida’s campus where we got to continue to partner with the International Bridge Fellowship, also known as IBF. This morning we were able to play on campus, things like throwing the football and playing spike ball. Some of us also walked around campus going on prayer walks and engaging students in conversation. This afternoon we were able to set up a table on campus to keep spreading the word about IBF. Within the first thirty minutes of us being there we had many different international students come up to the table eager to learn about the organization which was very encouraging and exciting to meet more international students who want to be connected on campus.
This evening we were able to attend IBF’s first group meeting. In attendance were the officers of the organization as well as a few international students who were curious about IBF. We got to eat together, play a trivia game together, pray together, and worship together. Three of our team members got to share their stories to the group and proclaim how the Lord has changed their lives. It was encouraging to see them faithfully share the gospel through their stories to students who do not know Jesus. We all got to sit and talk with students from different countries and hear about their culture and worldview. I talked specifically to two grad students who were at the University of Florida for their respective programs. One of them was from China and had been in the states ever since the eighth grade, and the other one was from India and moved to Gainesville six months ago. I was grateful to have had conversation with the two of them and hear how they saw the world, both in the United States, as well as back home in their respective countries.
The Lord is moving, and it is really encouraging to see how He has been using my team members to do so. We have people who are gifted in so many ways and it is encouraging to see the different members of the body of Christ working together to engage in gospel conversations with students. Tomorrow will be our final day that we are going to be on campus, and I would ask that you would pray for boldness while we are on campus engaging with students. Please pray that we can direct conversations towards the gospel so that we can share with students the good news and hope of Jesus! Thank you for keeping up with us and praying for our time here!!
