Friend Requests

With our new Account Portal, friend requests are easier than ever! This is how you can ensure your camper has a friend with them in their cabin/team for Day Camps or Overnight Camps.

A note for those who come to camp without a friend: This is super common!

We are confident your camper will make friends quickly. We’re intentional about setting up cabins and friend requests to not isolate any single camper, and our coaches are trained to help facilitate friendships and prevent “friendship-cliques.” This is camp, the week your camper gets to hit pause on things like hard friendship dynamics.

If you wish to make a friend request, follow these steps:

Step 1: Login to your account dashboard.

Step 2: Select Registrations in the top menu.

Step 3: Locate your upcoming summer camp registration and choose Friend Request from the list of buttons within the registration.

Step 4: If you already have a completed friend request, their name will appear. If not, select EDIT.

Step 5: Enter the FIRST and LAST name of the camper you are requesting and the email used to sign into their account. (How will you know this? Give that parent a call to make sure you have their information correct.)

Step 6: Once this is completed, an email will be sent to you with a friend request code.

Step 7: That friend follows the same steps as you to get to the friend request window and instead of putting your camper’s name and email, they enter the request code into the appropriate field and select Accept Request.

Step 8: And you’re done! You should now see the friend request link within the registration.

Our data system allows you to link 4 campers together. All friends must be within one grade of each other (ex: 4th & 5th grade could be together). We cannot guarantee more than 4 friends together in a cabin/group, because we have found this number to be the best way to ensure friendship-making opportunities for everyone in the cabin/group. Depending on the makeup of the individual cabin/group, we will work to accommodate your additional request.

Camp Store

The Camp Store Card is an account for campers to use when they visit the store during their camp session. During their one-time visit, they will have plenty of time to hunt for the perfect mementoes to remind them of their time at T Bar M. You can load their card in your camper Account, under Store Card.

Options to order before coming to camp

Surprise your camper with items from the Camp Store! All orders can be done in your camper’s account, under the “Pre-Orders” tab. All orders must be done by 11:59pm Opening Day (Sunday). Items available for Pre-Order:

Care Packages (Overnight & New Braunfels Day Camp Only):

Mission Impossible & Alpha/Omega Themes – These packages are a convenient way for you to accessorize your camper for these two theme nights. Deliveries will be made before each designated theme night.

*Camp Travis does not have a Mission Impossible theme night

Cabin Deliveries (Overnight Camp Only):

T Bar M Gear – Stock up on T Bar M gear and have it delivered to your camper’s cabin. Your gift will be delivered early in the week, with plenty of time for them to enjoy.

Overnight Camper Mail

One of the best benefits of camp is disconnecting from social media and cell phones so we can make in person connections! With that said, we know you want to send your love and encouragement to your camper during the week.

Pack Your Own:

Families are welcome to pack letters or small packages inside their camper’s trunk BEFORE coming to camp (please do not pack food). We will also have mail drop of stations while driving thru the Opening Day line. Please remember to label camper name and if their is a specified day to deliver.

Unlimited Emails:

Camper emails are available for FREE through your T Bar M account, under Parent Engagement. Send as many emails as you like! These emails will be delivered to your camper the following day.

Alpha vs. Omega

Camp is split into two big teams, the Alphas and Omegas. This is one of the biggest traditions where campers compete all week long to see which team will win their week!

Pack your team’s color, Red for Alphas and Blue for Omegas! Every cabin/group includes both Alphas and Omegas and your team does not affect friend requests.

How to see if you are team Alpha or Omega:

Step 1: Login to your account dashboard.

Step 2: Click Attendee Selection.

Step 3: Click Edit.

If you choose not to use Waldo, you can still access all photos free through the T Bar M app.

Safety at camp

Ensuring the health and safety of your camper remains, as always, a top priority.
  • Physical Safety: while participating in activities at camp. Visit this link to our safety page which includes practices regarding physical, spiritual, and emotional safety.
  • Health Safety:
  1. Sign into your account to make sure you’ve electronically signed our health information form.
  2. If your camper has medications please read our Medication Policy and drop off all meds on Opening Day.
  3. In regards to COVID-19, we continue to follow our Texas Department of State and Health Services (TDSHS) guidelines. TDSHS has stated that they will not be issuing requirements or recommendations. Therefore, other than our standard cleaning protocols, we will NOT be requiring a health screening form or temperature check on Opening Day.

If any of our policies change before your camp session, we will notify you via email. Like any other sickness at camp, our staff will contact you if your child begins to feel sick and/if they test positive or are contagious they will be sent home.
