Preparing for camp this summer

Everything you need to know leading up to your week of camp.

Summer 2023 Theme: Rise Up!

Verse Isaiah 40:31 “But those who wait for the Lord’s help find renewed strength; they RISE UP as if they had eagles’ wings, they run without growing weary, they walk without getting tired.”

Like the nation of Israel in Isaiah’s day we are in desperate need of comfort and hope, but when we look inward instead of upward our anxiety only increases. The promise is for those who wait for the Lord’s help. Amid hardship, when we grow tired and weary, when we stumble and fall; it is we who hope in the Lord who will RISE UP!

Friend Requests

With our new Account Portal, friend requests are easier than ever! This is how you can ensure your camper has a friend with them in their cabin (Overnight Camps) or group (Day Camps).

A note for those who come to camp without a friend: This is super common!

We are confident your camper will make friends quickly. We’re intentional about setting up cabins and friend requests to not isolate any single camper, and our coaches are trained to help facilitate friendships and prevent “friendship-cliques.” This is camp, the week your camper gets to hit pause on things like hard friendship dynamics.

If you wish to make a friend request, watch the following video:

Camp Store

The Camp Store Card is an account for campers to use when they visit the store during their camp session. During their one-time visit, they will have plenty of time to hunt for the perfect mementoes to remind them of their time at T Bar M. You can load their card in your camper Account, under Store Card.

Overnight Camper Mail

One of the best benefits of camp is disconnecting from social media and cell phones so we can make in person connections! With that said, we know you want to send your love and encouragement to your camper during the week.

Pack Your Own:

Families are welcome to pack letters or small packages inside their camper’s trunk BEFORE coming to camp (please do not pack food). We will also have mail drop of stations while driving thru the Opening Day line. Please remember to label camper name and if their is a specified day to deliver.

Unlimited Emails:

Camper emails are available for FREE through your T Bar M account, under Parent Engagement. Send as many emails as you like! These emails will be delivered to your camper the following day.

Summer Menu

Alpha vs. Omega

Camp is split into two big teams, the Alphas and Omegas. This is one of the biggest traditions where campers compete all week long to see which team will win their week!

Pack your team’s color, Red for Alphas and Blue for Omegas! Every cabin/group includes both Alphas and Omegas and your team does not affect friend requests.

How to see if you are team Alpha or Omega:

Step 1: Login to your account dashboard.

Step 2: Click Attendee Selection.

Step 3: Click Edit.

Watch how to choose which team your camper will be on this summer.

Camper Photos

There’s an app for that!

Don’t forget to download the T Bar M app to access photos, session information, pre registration, and more!

Through facial recognition, your camper’s photos are delivered straight to your phone. Cost is $14.99 and Waldo donates 50% back to our Gift A Camper fund! If you choose not to use Waldo, you can still access all photos free through the T Bar M app.
