Sports Specialty

“Take me out to the ball game!”

This specialty is open for boys only.  No prior baseball experience is needed. The coaching will be specific to the age and skill level of your child. The following skills are taught in a fun and active environment:

  • Hitting/Bunting
  • Base Running
  • Position Play
  • Fielding
  • Pitching

Our Coaches know the importance of building confidence in your child’s ability while also teaching them to enjoy one of America’s favorite sports. Our staff is not only there to increase your child’s baseball skills and knowledge, but also to teach the importance of character and teamwork.

Baseball specialty meets on our baseball field which is equipped with two water stations to keep your child cool. We know exercise and hydration go hand in hand and we take hydration seriously here at T Bar M. Because our summer days are hot, each child is given their very own personalized water bottle and goes with them to the baseball field.

A T Bar M Sports Journal is given to each child to help remind them what they have accomplished throughout the week. Campers write daily in their Sports Journals to reinforce learning. Sports Journals include:

  • Mission Statement
  • Word of the day / Bible verse
  • Daily practice schedule with drills
  • Note section for personal takeaways
  • Note section for Think Twice
  • F.I.T. (Focused in Truth) evaluation
  • A written note of encouragement from their Coach

The Baseball Specialty requires no extra clothing or equipment. Cleats are not necessary. T Bar M Camps provide gloves, balls, helmets and bats; however, your child is welcome to bring their own equipment. All gloves, bats/bat bags will need to be labeled with your child’s name and will stay with your child in his cabin.  Campers will be responsible for keeping up with their personal equipment.
