1. Where are you from?
2. Alpha or Omega?
Alpha – AAAAAAAA
3. What’s your favorite local New Braunfels place to eat?
I love Krause’s breakfast! They have the best cup of black coffee in town AND pancakes!! Pancakes and coffee – What more could ya need?
4. What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever been given?
I am trying to think of something deep and profound or something funny, but the only thing that comes to mind is the chorus of “The Gambler” by Kenny Rogers. My dad has always played it when any situation of conflict has arisen. It still makes me and my siblings groan when we hear the song start playing, but it always leaves us smiling. “You’ve gotta know when to hold ’em. Know when to fold ’em. Know when to walk away. Know when to run. You never count your money when you’re sittin’ at the table. They’ll be time enough for counting when the dealin’s done.” Knowing when to speak and when to stop and take a step back to listen to someone is one of the many lessons this song as taught me.
5. What’s the most inspiring thing about your job?
I feel like the luckiest person ever that I get to do the thing I love most AND use it to supply others with the tools they need to share the gospel! It is inspiring to see how one small project can be used to make a huge impact on someone!
