Camp is one of the rare places where the volume of the world gets turned down. Screens are put away, schedules are simpler, and distractions are limited, giving us the space to tune in to Jesus. As alumni, we may not be spending our summer "at camp", but we still want to invite YOU to bring Camp into your days… to make every day Camp. The same way we challenge campers and coaches, we want to challenge you.

"You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you, because he trusts in you." Isaiah 26:3

This summer, we are inviting campers to “Stay Tuned.” Those words are more than just a phrase. They are a call to pay attention, stay connected, and focus on what matters most. Just like a television network uses the phrase to hold our attention for an important message, we hope campers will lean in, tune out the noise, and listen for God throughout the week. Isaiah 26:3 reminds us, “You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you, because he trusts in you.” In a world full of stress and distraction, peace can feel hard to find. But when we stay tuned to God, when we fix our minds and hearts on Him, we experience the kind of perfect peace that only He can give. Calm in chaos, clarity in confusion, comfort in any circumstance, and confidence in His plan.

Our goal this summer is to help campers build habits that keep them connected to God, not just at camp, but every day. Staying tuned to Him helps us discover the peace, purpose, and direction our hearts are searching for. It is both a challenge and an invitation to turn down the noise, focus on God, and stay tuned to the signal that never fades.

This invitation, this charge, this call is for each of us. And perhaps, even more so for those of us whose days don't have a built in quiet time for Bible study or carved out moments to pause and "think twice", or constant accountability and encouragement from other staff. Yes, even in the hustle of life and the demands of responsibility, we can still make every day "like camp".

So, Alumni, let’s commit to Staying Tuned to Jesus this summer. Take the time to sit on your porch, with your phone set aside, for time to steep in God’s Word. Commit to having lunch or coffee or go on a long walk with a friend for the sake of investing in their soul, or your own! Then, end your day huddled up with the Lord and a few others to share what He's taught you. Let this summer be your very own Christ-centered adventure and make every day Camp… Staying Tuned to Jesus Deep in the Heart of all you do!
