Why be a College Coach? Coaches are the heart and soul of what happens at camp. They are the number one (count’em) reason why campers have a great camp experience. You can be a Coach and be given the opportunity to impact somebody’s forever!

Since 1981, thousands of college students travel from all over the states and choose to make T Bar M their summer home. If you’re going to be a senior in high school, or a recent high school graduate apply for work crew! Our Base Camp Crew serve at Base Camp in New Braunfels, Texas. Travis Crew serves at Camp Travis in Austin, Texas!

The mission of T Bar M Camps and Retreats is to present Jesus Christ, teach His ways, and represent Him through an exciting, enthusiastic and encouraging camp and retreat experience.

What makes T Bar M unique?

We desire to be a camp and place where people grow in their walk with Jesus, whether it is just starting out or has a long history. We believe this happens most successfully within the context of intentional relationships, first with God and second with others. We require our staff to intentionally pursue the campers under them and we institute a system to intentionally pursue our staff. We call it Covenant Groups. So while you are intentionally pursuing and loving kids, someone is intentionally pursuing and loving you.

want to be a camp nurse?

It’s one week of being the medical hands and feet of Jesus to kids and staff! You will be plugged in relationally, have an assistant to help you with daily tasks, and watch camp in action. Applicants must pass a background check and hold one of the following certifications: RN, LVN, MD, PA, EMT or Paramedic.

  • 1 week commitment
  • 2 location options (New Braunfels and Spicewood)
  • trade a camp experience for your child in exchange for your service
